March

·         Thursdays – March 1st and 15th Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00

·         Saturday – 3rd Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Saturday – 3rd Family Night at the Movies at 6:30 with the movie "Courageous."  Men especially should attend this movie.  Child care provided at $1 per kid

·         Sunday - 4th Sunday School Potluck Breakfast for Sunday School at 9:30.  This is open to all teachers and Sunday School kids and adults.

·         Saturday - 10th.  Jewelry Making with Lisa from 10 to noon. For a reasonable fee of $18.00 you can make a necklace and bracelet (discount if you do both).  You can do a la carte as well:  Necklace $12.00, Bracelet $8.00, earrings are $6.00.  Sign-up sheet will be posted in the foyer on Sunday, February 26.

·         Sunday - 18th  A potluck dinner will follow. Those with last names of A-L should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert.  M-Z should bring a meat dish and a salad.

April

·         Thursdays – 5th and 19th Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00

·         Sunday - 1st is Palm Sunday

·         Saturday – 7th Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Friday - 6th Family Night at the Movies at 6:30.  We will be watching the 1st part of the movie "The Gospel Of John" and the second part on Saturday night.

·         Saturday – 7th  Family Night at the Movies at 6:30, "The Gospel of John" part 2.  Pastry Treat Night, child care provided at $1 per kid

·         Sunday - 8th is Easter Sunday

·         Monday - 9th Board meeting at 6:30

·         Saturday - 14th Mini-marriage seminar with Jack Carey - From 10:00 to 3:00.  Cost is $20 per couple which includes pizza for lunch.   

·         Sunday - 15th Concert with Jack Carey and potluck dinner following.  Those with last names of  A-L should bring a meat dish and a salad.  M-Z should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert.  A free will offering will be taken for Jack.

·         Pastor on Vacation - April 16-23

·         Friday to Sunday – April 27-29  Ladies Retreat at Heartland Christian Camp in Birmingham, Iowa on.   Cost is $50.00 for the entire weekend (yummy food included).  $25.00 for Saturday. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the foyer by mid March.  Vehicles and drivers are needed.  You won’t want to miss the fellowship and fun so mark your calendars now!

May

·         Thursdays – 3rd Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00

·         Saturday – 5th Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Saturday – 5th Family Night at the Movies at 6:30.  We will be watching the movie, "Amazing Grace."  Pie & Ice Cream Night, child care is $1 per kid

·         Saturday - May 12 is the Ladies Tea Time.  This year we will be traveling to Prairie City to visit “Sisters of the Heart” tea room.  This is a handicapped accessible facility.  We will leave the church at 10:00 and lunch from 11:00 to 12:15.  Average cost is $12.00 a meal.  I need volunteers to drive.  Sign-up sheet in the foyer by Sunday, April 22.

·         Sunday - 13th - Mother's Day

·         Sunday – 20th Mexican Fiesta Dinner at noon.  A-L should bring a meat dish and a salad, M-Z should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert.

·         Thursday, May 19 Ladies Game Night beginning at 6 p.m.  Pizza will be served.  Bring snack foods and games and come enjoy the fellowship!  Babysitting can be available if you contact Dawn by May 12.

June

·         Saturday – 2nd Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Sunday - 3rd Favorite Potluck Dish Dinner.  Those with last names of A-L should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert.  M-Z should bring a meat dish and a salad.

·         Friday and Saturday - 8th and 9th, Church Annual Conference at Montello, Wisconsin.

·         Friday and Saturday - 8th and 9th, All Church Garage and Baked Goods Sale in church parking lot as a fundraiser for the parking lot.

·         Sunday - 17th Father's Day

·         Monday - 18th  Board meeting at 6:30

July

·         Sunday night – 8th.  Taylor Trio Singers at 6:00 p.m.  A free will offering will be taken for them. 

·         Sunday - 15th Picnic at Edmundson Park at noon. Those with last names of A-L should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert . M-Z should bring a meat dish and a salad. 

August

·         Sunday thru Thursday –5th to the 9th VBS 6:00 to 7:30.  We will need lots of volunteers for this event so put it on your calendar now.  On Thursday night we will have an Ice Cream Social for the parents.

·         Monday - 20th  Board meeting at 6:30

September

·         Thursdays – 6th and 20th Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00Saturday – 8th Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Sunday – 16th - Church potluck.   A-L should bring a meat dish and a salad, M-Z should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert.

·         Saturday - 22nd in the Oskaloosa Park for our version of the County Fair.  Activities to begin at 11:00 and go until we are finished.  Lunch will be served at 11:15 – menu hotdogs, potato chips, watermelon, fresh veggies and dip and Kool-aide and tea.  Bring lawn chairs, if you would like.  This event will be postponed in case of rain.  The rain date with be Saturday, October 6.  (Sponsored by the Ladies Ministries)

October

·         Thursdays – 4th and 18th Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00

·         Saturday – 6th Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Monday - 15th  Board meeting at 6:30

·         Sunday – 21st to 24th, Church Revival Service and Potluck Dinner on the 21st.  Those with last names of A-L should bring a vegetable dish and a dessert . M-Z should bring a meat dish and a salad. 

November

·         Thursdays – 1st and 15th Ladies Bible Study held in the church basement at 6:45 – 8:00

·         Saturday – 3rd Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Sunday – 18th Our Fall Harvest Dinner at noon.  Ham and Turkey will be provided.  Sign up to bring the other items.

December

·         Saturday – 1st Men’s Breakfast at 7:30

·         Saturday – 1st Ladies Christmas Tea.  Located in the Church basement from 10 a.m. to noon.  We will be having a cookie/candy/dessert swap.  If you want to participate plan on bringing two dozen baked goods to share.  Bring 2 dozen – go home with 2 dozen.

·         Sunday – 9th Children’s Christmas Program

·         Sunday – 16th In House Christmas Concert

·         Monday - 17th  Board meeting at 6:30
